Default teknic chicane leather suit ?

Anyone here using one? I know they are entry-level leathers (like my AGV suit) How do they breathe? Are they worth a damn? Would you want to wreck in them?

Well what I mean by that is, I have my KBC helemt, and sure its a helmet and all, but from the construction and how it is I wouldnt want to wreck in it, same with my mesh jacket.

Jacket -- very well. A few scuffs, no torn stitching, no repair required. I had the full 360 zipper attached to the pants, and it held, also.
Pants -- several scuffs. The stitching popped in two places (minor, maybe an inch long each), and will have to be repaired. The velcro for the knee puck on the right knee tore away, and I lost that along with the puck. To be fair, it was not the original stitching on that. I had the velcro moved farther down the leg so the pucks would be where they are supposed to be on my stilt legs.
Gloves -- I was a bit disappointed, here. The gauntlet on my left glove ripped open, and I got a bit of road rash as a result. I don't think it should have torn like that. Then again, they only cost $100 or so.

I don't know about their leather's but I could give you some info on the fit. I wear a 42/44 jacket (depending on brand, cut, etc) and my Teknic is a 44 (I think) or a 54 European. It seems to fit like an American jacket would in that it's made big around the chest/torso but they don't give you much vertical length on the torso or sleeves. Their 42 fit me better, but the sleeves were even shorter and offered little to no protection on my forearms. Then again, you're bit shorter and thinner than I so a 38/40 may be just the ticket.

my 44 in AGV jacket fits right but the AGV 44 pants are a good size too big, By the sizing chart I should be wearing a 42, I just have to kind of hope for the best I suppose since there are really no places where you can go try on a bunch of leathers~

im 6'0 155 pounds

Just let me know if you ever want to try on my jacket. I just had another thought. Maybe 4 months after I got mine the seam on the bottom of the liner of my right pocket started to come apart followed shortly by the same seam on the left. There are also a couple other places where the stitching is a bit sub par. I called Teknic and they said they absolutely wouldn't fix it and that it was the dealers responsibility to get a replacement. I called the dealer (Donnelson's in St. Louis. I can't really recommend them) and they told me I was SOL. Just a thought on Teknic's support and quality but YMMV. Other than that and the fit, the jacket is very very nice.

Well right now, for what I want to spend on a suit, its Teknic Chicane, or another AGV Forza suit.. I got a great deal offered to me on a new A-star suit but its still more than I want to spend even though its deeply discounted.

This is why im asking about the Teknic suit, I alreayd know all about my AGV, trying to get some insight before I spend the money.

I have a leather TK jacket and it flows a ton of air, the armour in it is as good as the stuff in my AStar suit, maybe better. They use Knox body armour. Zippers are YKK and it's been through a monsoon! No color fade from the leather and the stitching has held up. I'd give it two thumbs up, but if I were buying a TK suit I'd go with the Xcelerator if I were you.
