Red face Triple tree stands, suggestions?

I'm not exactly a mechanic by any formal means, but I do love tinkering, and saving money. So then that would mean it would make pretty good sense to tinker if I were also mechanically inclined right?

Right. So I have a VFR that got hit a while ago and now it's half-past time to get to fixing it, but at least one of the things I'd need I don't have; what are your experiences with various triple tree stands, and what are the better investments/or should I rent or borrow one?

I've seen good results out of two saw horses and a two by four. It's definitely not a one person job, but if you have a rear stand as well it can be pretty sturdy.

I've got pitbulls, and they're kind of expensive but you can get some pretty nice stands at Harbor Freight for next to nothing.

I have and use a Harbor Freight rear stand. Cheap and works great! Don't know about the front ones.
