I can't say I'm thrilled about the law staying in effect, but it will definitely be good for the state.

Score one for common sense.

Are you saying that is the time to go to the next dimension or that it is a good idea to wear the helmet?I am old so wearing the helmet just makes since for me and i do not believe those that say they will just ride in other states now. This will come up again and again and again and some will never be happy.I wish they made better helmets.I give thanks to the GOV. for thinking ahead.I think we will find that Jay Nixon will do a good job.{5 Min Later}Sorry Fal i was commenting on your signature it sounds like you have common sense in your post.

Heh, you said 'you wished they made better helmets'

what does that mean?

'they' do make 'better helmets'

there are some good freakin helmets out there, just not skid lids~

Yep in know.I wear a new 3/4 with a face shield that i put a paint job on.I was thinking a helmet like in the movies that spues out foam all over the body so you land soft.As a matter of fact i think i have seen a suit that does that being tested before.

this just made my day better! Thank you Nixon (sorry, my day got "ruined" earlie about Palin...please don't start those debates though lol). It's one thing if people want to be unsafe and ride w/o helmets if it doesn't affect others. but the way i see it, it affects a lot of things if people were to not wear helmets (from insurance rates, health care, emergency response/treatment, etc)

Jay Nixon is a douche bag for reasons other than the helmet law.

I meet him a few times when i ran for state rep.And also asked him a few questions about the sunshine law when i was a city councilman. He never gave me that impression.I do not know and do not want to know about his personal life though.Did he do something in your field that makes you say that?
