He was home for 10 days boot leave in September, 10 days at Christmas and I was out there over Memorial day for his 96 hours then. We went to San Diego and had a great time! He will be home for 10 days predeployment leave this September but only for 10 days. :/

Hey girl! I havent stopped by here in a minute and I just wanted to see wassup. My son was home over 4th of July for a 96 hour leave and back to 29 already. Hopefully he will be back in Sept for his predeployment leave. Other than that SOS DD here. Hope you are doing well!

Hey girl! LTNS! Son has been home..and gone and home and gone again! He graduated from School of Infantry at Pendleton in December then he was home for Xmas, reported back and was assigned to a unit at Twentynine Palms CA. Training training training for now. Thanks for asking! How are you doing?

My kid got his first promotion! He is a Private First Class! I had to send him a card just so I could address him with his new title!

I was trying to figure out how the hell to post a pic on the messages here but I cant see how to do it or else you just cant..so Im going to to post a pic of my kid that his friend snapped in Oceanside CA last weekend to show you my "baby". He is Camp Pendleton at Infantry Training Battalion. I didnt recognize him!
PS since I cant post it here Ill post it in the Ladies room so you can see!

Matt is at Camp Pendleton and started School of Infantry this week. He wasnt even supposed to go to boot camp until November so this is quite an accomplishment for him!

For my son, today is what they call Sunday 9. Only 2 weeks to Liberty Sunday then I get to go see him Graduate! Yay!

Sure does! But Im waiting on his snail mail to see how rifle qual went. That letter is taking forever!
