I might do it sometime but it wont be this season

What's wrong with camping away from home? You can borrow one of my tents if you need to, and they have wifi at the track so you can keep up on your internet porn. It's the weekend, you'll only have to take off about half of Saturday because you'll be closed on Labor Day and we'll be back in time for you to go to work on Tuesday morning. And I'm driving, all you have to do is ride along and listen to Dave's stories about skanks hiding drugs in their underwear, or just sleep the whole time, like Paul!

Man, it will be the most fun you've ever had with your clothes on (or off). You don't know what you're missing. The only people I've ever taken that didn't absolutely enjoy EVERY second of it weren't really riders to begin with (of the four, I think only one may even still have a bike).

I didnt either and still never will anywhere else for that matter, but its like no other experence I have had. (and I have had plenty) I am hoping to be able to make it at least one night this trip. I have a new supervisor position at work and I cant take off anymore. Being that its on a sun and mon I have to work mon night at 10. Wood is out. He is in a wedding on the 6th with rehersal on the 5th. So I would be rolling up there on my own on the sun if I am able to make it.

Come on guys! Surely there is one more person that wants to see what it's like to take your bike to the limit with no worries about cars, cops, unfamiliar roads, or any of the other hazards of street riding.

Honestly no its not. It cost me less than $200 to get my 85 in a 40 reduced to a non-moving violation.

Two days at Hallett will cost you $180. CHEAPER!

Yeah, yeah...gas, food, souvenirs, etc. But it is still WAY more FUN than a speeding ticket! Ha! Argue that one!

On another note, I cleared the fog and told the wife I was going to Hallett on the 5th and 6th while she is in Texas visiting her parents. As expected, she threw a bearing.

So what did you have to promise her to get to go?

I would love to go...... Problem being I don't have a bike that I would trust to run hard for extended periods of time. And I'd hate to drive all the way down there just to break down. Maybe someday *sighs*
