2012 Trackday Calendar

I went through and compiled the calendars from the tracks that are closest to us (relatively). Personally, I'm hoping to get at least 5 or 6 in this year, including Hallett in Oklahoma, Mid America Motorplex in Iowa, and Putnam Park in Indiana, and hopefully the STAR school at HPT and maybe even Gateway. I'd also really like to try to get into the MCRA racing series between HPT, Gateway, and Putnam but we'll see.

In addition, there are CMRA races at Hallett on May 18-20, something called Firecracker Motorcycles at Hallett on July 14-15, CMRA again at Hallett on July 20-22, and other days that I'm sure will get added to the calendar as they tend to fill in any days that aren't reserved with more MLD's towards the end of the year.

I'd invite ANYONE who's not been on the track to give it a shot at least once. We'll get you geared up and transported there and you'll have the time of your life riding your bike to it's true potential.

I can't believe MAM is operational - when I went through there in August it was mostly still underwater. I gotta believe that pavement is phucked up

They had at least one motorcycle track day there at the end of last year.

It's always sketchy in Oklahoma in the spring but if it's not cold or raining I'm in.

I am down for a couple, been 2 years since i have been on the track and would like to hit a couple to bring some skill back lol

Track day would be a blast but I want some training at a school before I get out with others. I need some proper training from instructors first.

That what Hart is for at hallett. I wouldnt worry about being out with others in that, passing is only on the outside of the corners or straights. Scott ive seen that you ride well enough to not endanger other people and you dont have to go fast at all you can take it slow all weekend if you want.

I would want it more for a confidence booster. I do better on roads I know and ride offen. I don't do well on roads I don't know.
