Default I'm giving into the urge!

Okay, I've been thinking long and hard and have decided to scratch the cruiser idea, in fear that I will not be happy riding a "turd" as Cody refers to them. I think I have decided to go with Honda this time around. I am normally a Kawi fan but just can't get into the new body styles. I want to see if anyone has any good or bad feedback about the 2010 CBR 600's. I know some guys don’t like the bold new graphics but I must say I like the “Leyla” edition.

I forgot to add that last fall I got to blow the cobs out of my cousin's husband's 09 since he is in Iraq. It was a lot more nimble than my 07 ZX6R and seemed to be better balanced. This is really what got me thinking about the CBR.

There aren’t a lot of reviews out yet as these gals aren’t set to hit the dealers until spring but this is what I’ve been able to find thus far. The 2010 will be equipped with electronically controlled Combined ABS for better braking performance. The motor boasts changes to the pistons, cylinder head and exhaust; which produce improved torque from 8,000-12,000rpm. She weighs in at 432 pounds and also features an electronic steering dampener.

The graphics are awsome I'd buy it just for that.
As for the bike honda always makes a good product and it is hard to go wrong with one.

I love how it looks and it seems like you really like it as well. Good luck with what ever you decide, It would be nice to see you back on a bike though.

Personally, I wouldn't buy new. Then again, I am a cheap bastard. The only bike I bought new off the showroom floor was my '89 Yamaha FZR600. There are just too many good bikes out there with very few miles on them to justify me paying the big new-bike-off-the-showroom-floor depreciation.

Everyone is different, though. Some people just can't handle having a bike that someone else has had their hands on and possibly abused.

I would normally agree with you Desmo however, banks don't want to loan you shit for a used motorcycle and if they do the rates aren't near as good as they are on a new model. I guess I could always just save up a few thousand but then again I'm too impatient.

As for the graphics, I noticed there are little hidden images throughout the bike such as, the Male and Female symbol, 777, Skull & Crossbones, Dice, Aces, an Eight Ball, etc.

And yes, it would be great to get back in the saddle, I've been chomping at the bit believe me.

As for your comment Earz, I will always be a Kawi owner at heart. But until the design team gets their heads out of their rear ends there won’t be one setting in my garage. I think the ZX6R in particular has been gradually getting uglier for years.
